State of Darkness: An Interview with Molissa Fenley

Molissa Fenley created her seminal work, State of Darkness in 1988. Recently, it was live-streamed from New York's Joyce Theater, seven separate performances, each with a different dancer. Molissa recreated the work at The Dance Hub with the support of an AD&M Rent Subsidy Grant. In the interview, she talks about this work. She also shares her wisdom, as well as some fun stories from her far reaching and exceptional continuing career as an American modern dance choreographer and performer.
